About the Author and Illustrator

Originally born in Taiwan, Angela Lee now calls Orange County, California home.  She, her husband, Daryl, and their two sons, Garret and Cameron, are all fans of Chinese history, martial arts, ancient Chinese culture, and cuisine (although not necessarily in that order).  After a couple family trips to China, she has captured a child’s perspective of Chinese history - which is so fresh, entertaining, and full of wonderful insights beyond the ordinary history pages!  History doesn’t have to be boring! 

Her talented brother, Jeffrey Yeh, is a graphic artist and brought the book to life from basic illustrations like the one below.
